We’ve been made aware that individuals claiming to be Georgia Natural Gas employees have contacted our customers demanding payment to stop a service disconnection.
We are reminding customers that GNG will not call you and ask for personal or financial information like a credit card, debit card, banking information, or social security numbers. In addition, no GNG or Atlanta Gas Light employee will ever ask for cash payments.
These unscrupulous individuals have frequently targeted senior citizens in these utility scams. One of the phone numbers used was (877) 646-1062.
