Periodically, you may wonder who to call when things come up about your natural gas service. For instance, who should you call when you smell gas in your home? Or, who should you call with questions about a charge on your bill?
We’re here to help.
If you didn’t already know it, your gas utility is Atlanta Gas Light, while Georgia Natural Gas is your gas marketer. What’s the difference? Your utility manages all of the infrastructure, such as the pipelines required to deliver natural gas to your home or business. Atlanta Gas Light produced a video that we have posted below that highlights all that they do for you. Natural gas marketers (such as GNG) buy the natural gas on your behalf on the open market and handle all of your billing and customer service needs.
The benefit for you as a customer? You get more pricing options and better service offers from us, while AGL focuses on delivery and gas safety. It’s a win-win for you.
