Customers on Pre-Pay Guaranteed Bill lock in a flat bill amount that doesn’t change with the weather or wholesale gas prices. Unlike our per therm Pre-Pay plan, with Pre-Pay Guaranteed Bill there are no monthly true-ups, so you never have to worry about being charged extra if you use more gas than expected.

If you are a current Pre-Pay customer, you should consider switching to Pre-Pay Guaranteed Bill. Lock in a flat bill amount and don’t stress about fluctuating natural gas rates. When you make the switch to Pre-Pay Guaranteed Bill, we’ll even carry over your payment history so you’ll keep your good payment history and get the benefits of the Pre-Pay Guaranteed Bill plan. If you're not a current GNG customer and want to sign up for this plan, we'll cover up to $200 of your cancellation fee if your current provider charges one.

How is it calculated?

We estimate how much gas you’ll use over 12 months based on past usage at your premises, adjusted to account for weather. We then consider expected natural gas prices and other costs and market considerations, including:

  1. Atlanta Gas Light Company (AGLC) Base Charges
  2. GNG Customer Service Charges
  3. Gas Charges
